I’m working full time as a database administrator responsible for multiple, large Oracle and SQL Server databases.
Before my career as a DBA I worked as a developer using a wide range of technologies including Java, PL/SQL, Python, JavaScript, and SAP ABAP. I have good working knowledge of a host of other languages and frameworks, though most of my development nowadays is done with PL/SQL and Unix/Linux shell scripts. I still develop software as a hobby (mostly Java/Python) during my free time, and love to contribute to open source projects.
